Bio:
Dr. Cooper is an emergency medicine physician and communication skills enthusiast who has been with DFES since 2011. She serves on the academic faculty for the emergency medicine residency program with a focus on primary palliative care education. She also teaches nationally for VitalTalk, a nonprofit dedicated to improving clincians' serious illness communication skills. She lives in Philadelphia and spends her free time enjoying the city, racing sailboats and traveling.
